The structure characteristics of vertical hydraulic coupling

Vertical hydraulic coupling is used as a horizontal hydraulic coupling. In fact, the vertical hydraulic coupler has the following characteristics:

The sealing of the lower end of the hydraulic coupling must be strengthened.

When the horizontal coupling works, the working fluid is mostly working in the circular outside diameter, so the probability of leakage of the main shaft center is small.

Vertical coupler is installed vertically, and it is highly likely that the working fluid will leak downward due to gravity.

In order to prevent leakage, a reliable sealing structure must be adopted, and some of the lower end and the cover shell.

The auxiliary cavity should be located below

Before the coupling is started, the working fluid is filled in the auxiliary cavity below, thus reducing the oil filling rate of the working cavity, reducing the starting torque and smoothing the start.

On the other hand, if the auxiliary cavity is in the upper part, the hydraulic coupling starts up, the working cavity is fully filled with oil, making the starting torque and starting impact increase, which is not conducive to the smooth start of the working machine.

When overloaded, the working fluid large circulation movement, depending on the dynamic pressure and gravity, can quickly discharge into the lower auxiliary cavity, timely protection of the motor and the working machine is not damaged when overloaded.

If auxiliary chamber at the top, when overload flow direction and the auxiliary chamber in the opposite direction, to rely on the static pressure and gravity, push the liquid to the top of the auxiliary cavity, thus the discharge speed is slow, less auxiliary cavity in the bottom of the hydraulic coupling.

The filling and fusible plug should be located above.

For the convenience of refueling and disassembling of the fusible plug, the plug and fusible plug should be located above.

In the meantime, the oil plug should be installed in order to change oil.

Normally the position of the vertical coupling filler is 80% of the oil.
